It might not be much but bought my first silver coin. Thoughts about changing the casing? The one that came with it has a lot of scratches?

Congrats, very nice milestone.
You put it in an Airtite capsule if you want, but I would keep it in the original mint capsule. I think the square capsule looks cool and it makes the coin more appealing to some people.

Well done I have the set kookaburras along with Kangaroos are my favorites. Leave it in the case. I cannot tell from the photo - Is there some toning or is it just the color of the picture?

I would leave it in the original capsule. It's a good 1 oz series to collect. A lot more exciting then our (Candian) maple leaf coins.

Such a great looking piece. I always liked the Kookaburras from the early-mid 1990s, though I've never had one. You've inspired me to order my first!

Just a question on the side, how much above bullion price would be considered reasonable to pay for a coin?

Quote: Just a question on the side, how much above bullion price would be considered reasonable to pay for a coin? I guess that really depends on the buyer. As mentioned above, I always liked the look of the earlier ones, so don't mind picking them up these days. Perhaps not the best 'investment' advice...
