Top one looks like German States - Further Austria - KM # 27 (Kreutzer)
Second one looks like Austria - KM # 2108 (1/2 Kreuzer)

No top coin is Further Austria in southern Germany, which at various times included different areas. The territory was lost by Austria in 1805.

Ah you are right, I was looking at the top of the page all zoomed in which said Hamburg, didn't see Further Austria listed off screen.

As I understand it Austria was never a German state. A coin dated 1803 would be an issue of the Holy Roman empire. I would equate calling pre 1805 Austrian coins as German state coins with referring to modern day American coins as Canadian! ( forgive my humour Please)

2nd Edit I just dragged my Krause CD Rom out and looked and saw to my horror that Guenzburg is listed under further Austria under German states. This is,IMHO, Extremely poor form on the part of Krause publications. Further Austria should have been placed under Austrian states. The references I would rely on in this case are: Münzstatte Günzburg 1764 -1805 by Franz Reissenauer ( properly spelt with a Scharfes "S") and Ã-sterreichischer Münzprägungen 1519-1938 by Miller zu Aichholz

I have never heard of "Further Austria"

Edit: Just worked it out I am much more familiar with "Vorderösterreich" LOL!

Checking one of my Reference books I see "H" was the mint mark used by Guenzburg in 1803. And that top photo seems to show the Burgau arms ( but it is badly worn)
