1882-H Large Cent Double D? Extra Metal?

Okay, so I recently acquired a collection of large cents with a few semi-keys. But thats for another thread.

Was looking at this coin and found some extra metal or possible a doubled 'D'. It almost looks like the D was struck over something.

Its kind of hard to get pictures of it, but here are a few attempts. If you can tell from the pictures, what is that I see?

It's hard to tell from the pics. Could be pits or erosion on the die (if what you see is raised). I'm unaware of any '82 1a having any "doubling" that far offset.
