my coins to as I would like an expert to tell me whats what as I dont want to put them on ebay when I am unsure of the exact coins I have

If you post them here you can get a rough idea of what you have - lots of good IDers here and theres a lot of resources online.

I wouldnt suggest going straight to an auctioneer. find out what it is and then gauge what calibre of auction house you'll need.

If you have nice coins I saw Baldwin's in London sold a Sovereign for around £620'000 last year which was jawdropping to me, I myself go down the ebay route.

I suggest you start by scanning them, if you have a scanner. If better pics are needed, we can tell you but for lots of coins on here, scans are adequate.
