Just found a #7 this morning and was wondering why, since these two DDO's are almost the same is there such a big difference in value. Thanks.

Supply and demand John. The 004 is just rare and only known in EDS, which means they found the problem early and replaced the obverse die. Some of us actually look for the reverse die whcih was paired with a new obverse. I've even seen those sell for $30. I've seen some estimates that there are only 2-3 dozen die #004s known, but I don't know for sure how true that is. I have only ever seen one other example posted.
