Since there were only 3 known in existence, I figured that the likelihood of it being a genuine dot cent was slim to none. I showed it to my dealer who agreed that the dot appeared to be in the right position and it was the right size. He mentioned that I could send it to be authenticated. But somehow thinking I may have an unknown gem is exciting, more exciting than knowing I have a dud.
