Is there a reason why you think it could be fake? For example, an unusually low price? If the coin has been graded by PCGS, I don't see any reason why you would think the coin is fake.

If the coin is in a PCGS holder, than you can go to the PCGS on-line certification verification site:
http://www.pcgs.com/cert/

just enter the PCGS certification number that's on the holder. If the coin pictured does not match your coin, forensically, than it's a fake.

That's quite a reasonable price for such a coin; they did well by you. What year is it?

It could be fake if the PCGS slab is fake as well. There are fake slabs out there. There is also the very rare possibility that PCGS goofed and slabbed a fake. Fake coins in PCGS and NGC slabs do exist but are rarely encountered.
