At the urging of folks from this and other forums, I've decided to take coins in for photographic services. Here are the guidelines I've decided on:

1) PM me with your needs
2) Ship all coins to me insured
3) Pricing is as follows:
> 1 coin obv and rev $6
> 2-5 coins same denomination obv and rev $5 each
> 6-25 coins same denomination obv and rev $4 each
> 4x Variety Shots $8 each
4) Add USPS Insured return postage (whatever service level you prefer)

At some point soon I will put up a website to make things easier and to give examples of my photography

Comments welcome

so if someone was to send 25 coins in all different denominations they would pay the price of 1 coin x 25 correct ($6.00x25)?

Correct. I figured there wouldn't be that many denominations present in a submission, but if someone sent in a world type set of 25 different coins then I planned to charge $6 per coin. Reason is it takes a fair amount of time (perhaps I am just slow...) to adjust the setup (magnification, light positions, etc) to get it all right for each size and type of coin. If they are the same denomination, then I probably just have to adjust the lights a bit. Now, someone could get around that by sending in Cents from 1910 and 1850, or perhaps Dollars from 2000 and 1921, and that's fine.
