I am creating this topic as a general post topic, so we can just post whatever we found today.

I will start.

I got permission from a friend who is a contractor to detect the digged up property he is building a house on. Right now, it's just all mud/dirt.

1st time detecting this year, due to weather in NJ. When I got there, the fence around the property was padlocked, so I could only do between the sidewalk and the street, but it was wide, about 7 feet and maybe 30 feet long.

First time firing up the DFX since fall, and it was temperamental. Keep going off and giving me false readings. I was really frustrated!

But in the end, in that small space of ground, I found a 1927 and a 1942 wheatie, a lincoln and a SportPark token. This tells me there's gotta be more there!

Hopefully, I can get in the real property behind the fence this week.

Cheers!
