I thought this was cool, picked up this coin at an antique mall for 30 cents. Flipped it over, and was excited when I saw USA on the back haha. It also has a Denver mint on the back.
I'm not sure if this is in the right section. Sorry if it isn't. Would it go in World Currency?

30 cents is a steal, it's worth more than that for its silver content: it's .7500 silver, .0482 troy ounces, about $1.41 in melt value at the current spot price. Not really any collector value since tons of them (137,208,000) were made.

Awesome coin and awesome deal! I love the us issued philippines issues. They started them in 1903 and I think 45 was the last year. Yours was even minted at the denver mint!

Awesome find! I know there were quite a few minted, however I have always liked the design. I have a few in my collection. Didnt quite get the deal you did though!
