I have a bunch of silver dollars from the 1930s-1980s.
One from 1939 (non-magnetic)
Two from 1951 (non-magnetic)
One from 1955 (non-magnetic)
Six that have two dates on them (1858-1958)(non-magnetic)
One from 1962 (non-magnetic)
Two that have two dates on them (1873-1973)(magnetic)
and one that has two dates on it (1874-1974)(magnetic)

I also have a 50 cent coin from 1974 (magnetic)

It would be much appreciated if anyone could tell me the value on these.
Thanks!

All non-magnetic dollars are 80% silver and worth ~20 or up, depending on the grades. The magnetic ones are nickel and worth 1 to several dollars, also depending on the grades.

1967 and earlier are .6 ounce of silver and most are worth a dollar or two over spot. Your 1951 and 1955 may be worth a little more. I would need a real close up of the water lines to be sure, you are looking for either 3 or 4 short water lines on the right side of the canoe, or 2 1/2 water lines,.if you have either of those examples your coins can be worth more than melt.. if you have 4 full water lines then they are just regular silver dollars, worth about 18-22$.. imho.

the 58's and the 62 are 19-20 bucks apiece, the 39 & 51 might get a little more, the 73 & 74 are worth 1.50-2.00, and the fifty cent piece is worth... fifty cents.
Altogether, its a pretty decent sum hope it helps!
Also check out the coins of canada website, its very helpful.

your welcome! I also forgot to mention that the 55 silver dollar could fetch a lot more if it was an arnprior variety, however I'm not an expert on diagnosing if the coin is or isn't, so you could probably take the coin to your local coin shop to have it examined.

DrDanger,
You cannot PM another member until you have 50 posts.
However, if you return to your profile and toggle "receive messages" a member can reach you.
Then, an exchange of messages is possible off board. A bit of trust is required, but the VAST
majority of people here quite honest and sincere.
Will someone please help the good Dr?
