I love Saturdays at work... We're left with a change float usually having 2-4 rolls of each denomination, plus I come off the longest stretch between shifts of the pat period, meaning the till is usually filled with goodies held aside for me.

Today I thought I hit the motherlode...

I got in early as I usually do to zip through the rolls to see if I can catch anything before we put them in the till. My jaw dropped when I found 4 1968 dimes, and 3 1968 quarters... I thought I'd be rolling in silver. So I took out the magnet, and sure enough, all magnetic. My guess is these rolls were returned to the bank after someone hunted through a pile already. Oh well, the hunt continues.

All in all, I did not bad today, I found three Olympic quarters I still needed, a US State Quarter I needed ad a 1950 nickel among a bunch of pre-82 nickels.

This is why the phrase "So close and yet so far" was invented! Oh, and it looks like you found the silver lining to your no-silver cloud :P
