Gallienus, August 253 - March 268 A.D (struck 267 AD) Billon antoninianus. Antioch mint.
3.184g, 22.0mm, 180o; Obverse GALLIENVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, from behind. Reverse VIRTVS AVG, Virtus standing right, helmeted and wearing military garb, spear vertical point up in right, resting left on shield set on ground, PXV below. Göbl MIR 1666i, SRCV III 10403, RIC V 612, Cohen 1245, AHG 494 (this coin)

The billon antoninianii of Gallienus in close to 'as struck' condition (in terms of wear), are surprisingly easy to find.
The next step with these is to find one with complete and well struck legends.
If one point for each factor, this coin is 2 1/2 points.

A lot of Gallienus coins are rough and of poor manufacture as well. According to aorta, you can find deplorable coins by the cart full.

I have one with a rare Saturn reverse. Yours is a nice Virtus though. I like it.

These are really nice coins. I have been collecting more of these Radiated bust lately espically when I find them in this nice of a condition.
