I decided to organize my coins and take pictures. Someone asked me what mint numbers I had so I figured I would share. Does anyone have a really low mintage number or perhaps among the highest?

I got mine today! I like it. Not as cool as the first coin but still pretty nice.

Good thread stopper Elkslayer - kinda shows the difference between the two trains of thought on this forum. An innocent posting of a proud collector showing us his prized pieces, then you, trumping him with your hoard - of which you have no pride but in the price you will gain in the 'secondary market' - Nice going.

ElkSlayer must have a tough time sleeping at night with all the ambient light from the coins.

If it wasn't for people like elk, these coins wouldn't be nearly as popular. It seems most people want what they can't have.

Is that because you don't think they will increase in value much BiBo?

I don't know how much it will go. But I got around $15 to $25 profit for each of them. Which is not bad at this time. Also I do not like this 2nd coin as much as the first one. So I do not want to hold them long. 3 is enough for my own collection.

That makes sense. The first dino is much nicer in my opinion as well. I haven't been around long enough to have a good idea of what will go up, factors that influence its value, etc. I figure this is a good coin to learn with given its inexpensive price tag

When I start collecting I considered flipping coins. However, I think that would ruin the overall hobby for me. I would be too focused on buying/selling for a profit than buying the coins I truly enjoy.
But...I don't fault people who decide to buy-to-resell. It's a valid form of arbitrage & capitalism.
