Here is a better date coin for my type set. Third highest mintage numbers for the quarter at the Carson City mint but still came in under a million at 996,000 pieces. What grade do you think ANACS gave this one?

I'm thinking of a VG10 slab.

I think this CC Quarter would nicely slip into a VG-8 slab!

That coin was probably minted on the same press as my avatar. I guess this is a VG-10.

Thanks everyone! The VG-8 crowd won, but I agree with the VG-10 crowd on what the coin should have received. The reverse is F12 all day in my opinion, the eagle and shield is much too defined for it to go lower. The obverse does not make F12, but I think it deserves a VG-10 because of what is left of Liberty on the shield and the fact that the shield outlines are still well defined. VG-10 would have been my guess. This one was cracked out and placed in my type set, no pic of the slab.

I went with VG-8 because of the weak reverse. The rim is worn down into the field and the majority of the banner is flat. Obverse could make VG-10 but the reverse held it back.
