I have a couple of raw Morgans that would probably be MS63+ except they have a thumb print on them. Will acetone fix this? I've always been scared of doing ANYTHING to coins, so I don't even own acetone.

WILL NOT hurt the coin. Probably won't do anything to the fingerprint.

Is it possible to soak them and then gently wipe away the fingerprint?

No. Once a fingerprint is there, nothing short of a grinder (or treatment of similar threat to the coin) will remove it.
