I posted a video that explains inflation and how it relates to the numismatic hobby. I've been absent for several months, but I was seeing countless posts regarding rare coins, bullion, and long term investment. A large number of people seemed to not understand how inflation can destroy their investments.

For example, you can't look at a Red Book from 30 years ago and say, "Look, my coin gained X dollars in value!" One must adjust for inflation, and after doing so one may realize they actually lost buying power. Hopefully, it keeps people from kicking themselves 10, 20, 50 years from now.
