Well as I'm sure you probably expected the term some would give it is "spender".

my best guess is "Binary Repeater" or "Spender" :-).
Condition is too poor to keep eitherway.

You might see ababcdcd. Not commonly collected even in CU/GEM. Unless it means something to you, it is a spender as others have said.

I thought I rarely run into this type, sort of neat, but condition as you all have pointed out aren't so good.

Technically it is a Quaternary Repeater, although I never seen the term used by any sellers on ebay.
Though I believe only full binary repeaters have any substantial premium.

It might be worth holding on to if the serial wasn't on a $20 bill. On a dollar, no problem.
