I got 3 of these the other day from the mint and I looked at it under my loupe like I do every coin that passes through my hands lol and I noticed the die crack and the doubling I was just curious is this in normal for a coin not meant for circulation
Doubling seems pretty common on those but the die crack is uncalled for. Is that the Hockey $20? A few of us have die clashes on the Farewell to the penny one, some on the reverse, some on the obverse, and some on both sides.
It's not a die crack, it's actually a die clash. If you look at it closely, it is the back of the queen's neck. If you want a regular one instead, don't send it to the mint, I'll swap one for you :)
