Here is a nice Canadian issue with both Queen Victoria and King George. Not sure what it's commemorating, but a nice one never-the-less. Just a tad over the size of a half dollar.

Probably about the 60th anniversary of Canada.

These medallions were given to school children across Canada to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Confederation. Yours must be a larger size as these ones are about the same dia. as a quarter.

I remember receiving a medal at school in 1967 to mark the centennial. This one is closer to a half dollar in dia.

I think almost every family has at least one in the hands of a grandparent up here. I found three when going through some old family things in the summer.
