My wife and I returned from our trip to South America one week ago today.

I picked up quite a few coins and banknotes while there, and thought I had them all accounted for.

Then, as I was placing a little bell I purchaed on my knick-knack shelf in my office, I noticed the part it's held by was actually a coin.

It is no longer of numismatic value since it was plated and then welded onto the bell, but it is attractive, and its date is 1942 -- my birth year!!
