So new coins will come out in April, which coin will get a larger profit, the grandmother moon mask ( comes from an Iroquois creation story ) or the Venetian butterfly on cone flower. Moon mask : < 1 ounce but 25$ dollar face value with 6000 mintage Butterfly : = 1 ounce but 20$ dollar face value with 10000 mintage
Both are 149.95$

I'm thinking the butterfly will fetch higher prices in the secondary market. Appeals to larger audience (women, conservationist, wild life enthusiast) people want to finish their sets and it seems it may even be sold out before it reaches the public. Not sure about the Mask

He is asking about the "LARGER PROFIT".
Therefore, I will pick the Mask coin.
The Butterfly might sold out first due to lot of people are waiting to hoard this one. But look at the Bumble bee, It took a year for it to reach almost $250 right now. I hope the its price will reach $300 soon.
But for long term, I see the mask will make larger profit.
just my 2 cents

I think with limited budgets and a huge amount of offering it will come down to which coin is most popular. The butterfly will be selling way above release price while the mask is waiting to sell out.

I wouldn't count on making a profit on any modern mint coins.

personally I am leaning towards the butterfly, amazing conversation starter and nice part is that I bought the sub for the mallard, might double the 65 I paid and sell with the box for 150$ nice flip for a 14 year old ;)

Tough call....I aint buying either, but id go butterfly.....Them 2 coins are Just to much $$$ for me, for something that just doesn't suit me! Gold bull sells a nice 5oz American Buffalo coin for $157.00.I might go that route next month to feed the habit....of coarse except for the 25 cent wood duck coin :)

I was told there will be 11 set of new releases this year. I bet there will be a nicer and more profitable coin later on.

i hate it how now that when new coins come out you haven't received the one from last month, the mint should make releases once every two months,

I'll start speculating when the coin is released to MC members. I just think its stupid to be talking about these coins this early. I'm still thinking about ducks and dragonflies ðŸ'©

I don't think mask coin would sell for 175+ on ebay. Case #1: 2 Loons with native's art had wider audience and what do we have? (I assume there won't be shipping delays creating artificial rarity) Case #2: what was mintage and how many were sold for 1st mask?
