This group is in my town next week from March 19-23. Buying gold and silver. I have nothing I would want to sell to them. Just wondering if anyone has dealt with them before and if they are considered legit. I have read here in the past about that "Roadshow" group and how underhanded they are and I am curious if this is just more of the same.

---edited my intial statement----

Basically I said I feel they are the typical 'hotel' type buyers of coins and jewellery.

Stay away from them. They have 11 foot pole marks all over them .. probably offering 5-6 times face, instead of 17-18.

I get a charge out of how these coin association people (and I've never heard of them) claim to be both professionals and experts. To my mind, an expert is someone who can distort the facts as they please.

You only have to know more than the people you're talking to to seem like an expert to them.
