OLOM in Greek would look like this... OΛOM. Nothing comes up on wildwinds inscription search.

Is there anything else on the reverse?

Please post a picture if posssible.

We would need a photo of the coin to be able to tell you better.

If the photos are on your phone you might try the 'upload photo' button ( found on the 'reply to topic' page). Then browse for your picture, double click when found and upload.

Name each photo differently or second will erase the first. Also photos must be 100kb or less or they won't post.

Good to see you got your photos to upload.......

but, it's difficult to tell which reverse goes with which obverse from your images, or are these four different coins?

If the 1st coin on the left is rotated 180 degrees it might be a Tyche portrait of some type.

If the center coin is rotated 90 degress counter clockwise it might be a Seleucid or some similar type with Athena or Apollo standing, and the legends reading 'north/south' in the fields.

The third coin on the right with the eagle should be relatively easy if one new for sure what the other side looked. like.

The coin below one would need to know what the reverse looks like.

thanks Doucet for your help. I have managed to identify my coin with eagle on reverse as obverse has portrait with face of a man with a snake above his head, I thinks its a ptolemy of alexander wearing elephant skin on his head so that wasnt too bad, the other coins the face on the coin on its own goes with the reverse legend with large greek? writing on it ie coin on far left is reverse of portrait on coin on its own below all the others. if the writing which is quite clear and large could be read it might point to whom or what deity portrait if of...i might be getting a bit further with these...are ptolemys particulary worth collecting.....
