They may or may not be all that rare, but market isn't that strong for them... if you're patient these are up for sale all the time...

The 1858 obverses of the Canadian one, five, ten, twenty, and fifty cent coins by L.C. Wyon are very similar to the Sydney Mint sovereigns and half sovereigns 1856 - 1870.
There are small differences in the wreath on Victoria's head. With the Sydney Mint coins, she wears a wreath of Australian Banksia leaves. L.C .Wyon also designed the reverses for the Australian gold coins.
