Can anyone help me identify this coin / token for a friend of mine? He said his mother received it as a tip from a customer at the Denver International Airport where she works at a rental car agency.

I have not seen the coin in person so I cannot tell if it has coin orientation or medal orientation as to the obverse reverse setup and I do not know what metal is is made of but from the pictures it appears to be bronze.

I did a quick Google search and did not come up with any information on it and I did not see any places like the Franklin mint or HSN selling them.

I would say its a coin given to a soldier from a high ranking person in the airforce In the army we call them challenge coins. When we go to the vfw and someone says I bet I have a coin from a higher ranking coin then you and if he does you owe him a beer.

It's a non-specific challenge coin.

Since I refuse to participate in the myfacespacepagebook (trademark) craze does anyone have an update to what the Senate Liaison had to say about the coin / token?
