Colleague has this 5 kopeks Russian coin with double reverse (no obverse). Rim of the coin seems intact, it doesn't look like something home made.

Anyone seen this type of strike in Russian coins?

I suggest that you examine the edge carefully, looking for any sign of a seam.

That was the first idea that someone made this coin from two different coins to have some fun when tossing the coin, but edge looks ok, there is no sign of seam.

I'll try later to put some edge pictures here.
