You can see a mirror image of the legend, DEI, under the GRATIA. This coin may have been struck by a capped coin, forming a brockage, then struck again, normally, without a cap...

Looks double struck. DEI does not appear to be mirror. Need pics of both (whole) sides.

Quit playing Angry Birds and look closer nickelsguy, at the lettering underneath GRA of GRATIA.... under the TIA of GRATIA is the II of ELIZABETH II...

The problem is that the photo and the lighting is somewhat tricky, so I cannot tell from those photos if those mirror elements are raised or sunk into the surface of the coin - if the latter, than a sandwich coin is suspect ( PMD)... the more I look at those photos, the more I convince myself it is an Estwing Hammer special...

ok I will get some more photos of this coin its with its owner I offer to buy it but I'm not sure if its a real error or not.i have requested full photos through email should have them soon

SPP step away from your big mac (comp I mean) and look again, read the dei left to right......LOLOL see the weak impression of the back of the queens head.......first strike rotated over 100 deg from second........?
