I have no idea what this is. I figure a worthless token of some sort. Still be interested in its history, if it has one. Both sides are the same. Just very slightly bigger than a quarter. Any help is appreciated.

These pachinko tokens (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachinko for more info on the game) are worth about a quarter each, but only to pay for one game. There may be hundreds of variations.
