First of all sorry about the pics . I'm just getting started and haven't found a decent way to take excellent close ups yet . This one is not quite what I've seen before but seems to be in a different location . Could it just be a die break or did I finally find the rare extra bud ?

It is possible that it is a extr bud/spine. Picture is a bit fuzzy. For the extra buds/spines...the placement can vary from coin to coin.

Looks like a extra spine . Coinsandcanada has a picture of this same coin with the extra spine .
