just started a Wheat penny collection for my sons. its my hobby but I'm collecting them for me to pass on to my two sons (corny I know) wife is kind of on board but she only cares about halves and ikes and SBA because she likes how they look. *** Edited by Staff - Please Review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. ***

Unfortunately you do not have the required amount of posts to do any buying/trading at this site. No offense to you but the rules are for everyone protection. Stay awhile get your post count up. This site is great, filled with very knowledgable folks in almost all areas of numismatics. It's worth it, you'll be glad you stayed.

Welcome to the site, its great to have another member. It's not corny at all, Actually I think its wonderful your trying to get the sets completed for your kids. I'm working on pretty much the same thing for my daughter, I'd like her to get into coins as one day everything I have will be hers...

Once you get the posts needed I'm sure you will be able to find pretty much all you need pretty quick. There's a whole section devoted to buying/selling/trading and many members have want lists and trades/sales listed so I'd imagine you'll be able to find all you need. I wouldn't be surprised if someone even had the keys you may need.. So definitely stick around, it's a great site!

Welcome to the site, it's always nice to get the little ones involved in collecting, even if they don't develop it as a hobby, it's a good way to teach them about the value of money ( just remind them anything from 1964 and before is NOT to be spent if it's silver in color ( except of course the 1964 nickle )

Hi and You made the right choice in collecting these babies! Lincoln cents are the most exciting and inexpensive way to jump into the pool of collecting coins. Hope your child enjoys too! Check out the 2009 Formative Years Lincolns as well, the varieties are cool.joey
