But if nobody buy this coins because it's so expensive, it could be rare, like the first one of the Bird series...

Maybe so but no one is going to melt a 38 g 150 dollar coin or a 8 g 70 dollar coin for the silver , if people are so concerned about the amount of silver then they should not buy these coins and instead buy the bullion coins for 2 to 4 dollars over spot.

I must agree 70$ for 1/4oz is a bit much, but I am very interested in what the rest of the series will bring.
Even if I did know, I'm not sure if I'd get the coin haha I need to see a better picture, but for now it's a no...

Over priced for silver, yes, but I still got one as I really like the design. Of course spending 30 dollars for a steel .25 cent coin also seems rather ridiculous, but I still buy the bird series.

As much as I love honey and coins I'm staying away from this one. If a lot of people buy this I bet you will see a drastic increase in prices in the near future.

Love the design on this coin. If it weren't so expensive I'd pick it up. Hope it turns out to be a success for all those who ordered a few though.

Dont forget that all the coins comming out from the mint are collector coins...so the price of silver is second to the design and mintage of the coin....
