Hi everyone pretty new to collecting and I've bought 20 to 30 rolls from ebay and I'm finding a few with some large to small Cuds on the wheat stalks. I can't post pictures at the moment because I'm on a mobile device but I was wondering if they are worth putting in holders and saving? Any advice welcome

Just to be clear a Cud involves the rim, if it does not than it is a die chip. That being said; I've never had to re-list a Cud on ebay. They are worth keeping and putting in a 2x2. Die chips are another story, not as many collectors.

That helps a lot thank you! Its hard to find clear information unless from a professional. I have a 1929 S Wheat penny with an obverse rim Cud error listed right now if you wanna check it out and give me some pointers. Ill post one that is closer to what thought was a Cud in a few minutes. My ebay id is kevinrowe9 I have a few posted that I'm just not sure about.

Check out coop's reply on this post:https://goccf.com/t/145903 It is a good lesson on doubled die vs Machine Doubling. Your "strike through" is questionable but the price ok for that year if it was "free shipping".The 1929S looks more like lamination than a Cud. It's a learning process and you're at the right place for learning.

I am not sure what you have listed on ebay is a Cud. Better pics would help.

Wow I see the difference! Doubled dies look amazing compared to Machine Doubling. I've revised them and put not DDO. I was hoping someone out there collects the machine doubles. Its at 3.40 right now so I guess that's not bad for buying rolls for 50 cents. If the 29 and 19 don't sell ill re list with better terminology...thanks to you!! Ill be posting a couple more tonight. I appreciate the advice there is so much information but that's the fun part is being knowledgeable
