Does anyone know what's going on with the silver spot price? Dealers seems to have prices ranging almost $1.

$28.77 - Kitco and Provident
$28.39 - Goldmart and APMEX
$28.26 - Modern Coin Mart
$27.99 - Silvertowne

It seems odd since the gold prices at all these places is consistent at right around $1597.

I noticed that as well. I suspect it has to do with the fact that some or all of the markets were closing for Good Friday at different times and different dealers were including different markets in their calculations.

Either that or it was an after hours glitch...

[I got all excited, btw, around 6:30 PM last night when I saw that goldprice.org was listing silver at $27.84. I rushed to the computer to make a little purchase, but discovered that none of the actual dealers had it listed that low.]

That is curious. Can it have something to do with international markets (London maybe?)
