sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21786 Posts	Posted 04/05/2013 09:11 am I feel strongly that the Department of Game and Fish has zero claim to this treasure, given the circumstances. Why haven't all of the other folks who have been digging been arrested? The treasure should still belong to the finder anyway. Weather the Department feels they have a legal claim or not, a legal contest will happen. It seems that the legal eagles are going to clean up again! There has to be a better system of Statute Law in place. The Brits have, when it comes to treasure trove, so why can't the rest of us? Report this Post to the Staff
