Oh my. I had no idea it would be this hard. I figured the obverse was distinctive enough that someone would quickly recognize it.
Once more, one of the guys was an emperor and the other is his father. Ski's first guess happened to have two of the words of the father's full name, but the father is known by the third name-word. More to the point, the father's name is Nero Claudius _________.
(The father's birth name was slightly different; the three-word name mentioned above was his designation later in life.)

Well, 'expensive' is always relative. I checked for others and their selling prices prior to bidding and feel that I got this for a very reasonable price. I like the unusualness of it and will really enjoy owning it.

Interesting shape, very squared-off. I wonder when that happened-- if the flan began life that way or if it happened later? Next, not my coin:
