i'd know that nose anywhere!

ok, I got two new coins lately I purchased from one of our fellow forum member, I was going getting ready to post them so here they both are...

Guess-The-Emperor,-Caesar,-Or-Empress

ok, if you get 3 of the 4 you win...but try to name all 4 figures! 3 are byzantine emperors and one is an empress. left coin has father, son, and empress, right coin has the grandson.

Moe, Larry, and Curly with Shemp.

Or on #1 Heraclius Constantine on right, Heraclius center, and Heraclonas on left.
#2 Justinian I

you got 2 out of 4, so I'm going to give you the win since that was pretty mean...and I may not be around tomorrow.

it is heraclius and heraclius constantine, but the figure on the right coin in constans ii. the far right figure on the first coin is attributed to empress martina.

here are the reverses..

Guess-The-Emperor,-Caesar,-Or-Empress

look at the left coin....do you see a hint of a character below the "x" on the right side for the year? I'm not sure if I do or not.

It looks like something but I don't know what. Was I right on the second coin? I'll put something up tomorrow morning.

Wow! I figured this one would take many guesses and lots of clues since so many of that era look alike.
