A very long shot, I'm going to say Procopius. The facial features are somewhat similar and he was executed.

Well I took 5 different coins and tried each one out. Problem is I know them each too well and they all look all too familiar to me. So I went with my first choice as being as good as any.  Probably too easy so I will insist on some 'specificity' |

It's not as easy as you may think by just looking at a bust alone. I'm going to say Decentius Caesar 351-353 brother of Magnentius. He died by hanging himself.

Well no clue will be necessary. It does occur to me now that it may have been technically out of bounds as the 'Empire' is generally considered to begin 27BC. Octavian was at the time not quite an Imperator (merely a Triumvir) although 'formally' he was probably called Caesar as he claimed for himself the rather grand title of 'Son of God' ie DIVI F. The presence of the 'star' is also something of interest. I guess these sort of things were more common back then. AE Sestertius of Octavian 38BC  Doucet wins the 'orichalcum' ring echizento gets honorable mention but I was going to insist on 'specificity' PS I apologize for the delay .... trying to compile my tax numbers ..... ooooh boy.
