I have an opportunity to purchase this note. Note sure if its some sort of print error or a guy with a marker. The only thin I can add is that if it is marker, the ink did not bleed through(Not sure if it would anyhow). Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about the pics they were taken with my phone at the sellers house.
Also wanted to pint out that there is another "smear" on the bottom of the security strip, right and side.

This is an error note, ink smear or wet trap error. The italigo (raised) ink that is applied to the note was not dry before it came in contact with the sheet above it. It is an error and will be worth a premium especially since your note look like it is UNC.

That's a pretty major ink smear. I know in our US currency, error collectors pay good money for this type.

I'd take it. How much premium do you have to pay?
Interesting note for your collection.

My Charlton Catalog 2011 has major ink smear listed at $90. This one is not that major. My guess would be $40-$50 cause of the condition of the note. The journey series had a few ink smears on the large 20. I have see 4 or 5 notes like this before.
