Pulled out my currency collection for something to do today and thought I would share pics of the error bills I had picked up out of circulation years ago.

Beautiful notes however your 1995 d $5 is fakes as both seals are printed at the same time

$5 is fakes

I don't think so, as I remember it is a 2nd or 3rd printing shift.

No reason to believe the $5.00 is fake. While the Treasury seal and the Fed seal are both applied in the third printing they are not done by the same process. The shift in the Fed seal and Fed numbers without a corresponding shift in the Treasury seal is therefore possible. Errors like this have been discussed on other forums and certified by both PMG and PCGS as legitimate errors.

After some hunting around I did find some graded that had sold at heritage auctions for a pretty good price. I might have to have it sent out to be graded which would be better for storage then just leaving it in pages in a 3 ring binder.

Not really. Both during the same 3rd print process, but not at the same time.

This is a real error. I have found them in BEP sealed bricks.

The 3rd print consists of green ink 1st, then the black ink - but not at the same time. So the error is the 3rd print green ink is printed with pretty good registration, then the 3rd print black ink is printed but this time not in good registration.

Hope this helps explain this error.
