mmorgan22 Pillar of the Community United States 570 Posts	Posted 04/14/2013 12:43 pm This is a Sweden Carl XII Town Square Garden 10 Ore Token. C C.S.& Co and train on the obverse. StadsgÃ¥rden is a place on the Stockholm waterfront (originally Stadens SkeppgÃ¥rd, meaning dockyard or port facility). Carl XII-Torg is a city park or square in Stockholm. Given the railroad reference, I bet these were two stations, perhaps the two terminal stops that a particular municipal line was known by. philadelphian Pillar of the Community United States 3253 Posts	Posted 04/14/2013 5:03 pm Found a reference in a Baedecker travel guide from 1911 to a Stockholm line from Carl XII Torg to StadsgÃ¥rden. Only it's not rail or tram, but steamship ferry! So despite the locomotive depicted, this may more likely be an Ã.ngslupspollett (steam-launch token), and at least one sale listing for a similar 8-Ã¶re example suggests the same thing.
