Hi all, I am new to coin collecting and love to learn from you all. I got a silver color penny from my changes, it has a copper color circle around the edge and the rest of the coin is silver white. Is it a regular penny? Or something else cause it changed its color? Thanks

It's been silver washed or plated, and it's worn off on the high points...

And not sure about the coin but sure looks neat. I'd keep it regardless of value.
