beaglebailey Pillar of the Community United States 716 Posts	Posted 04/22/2013 10:27 pm This is also known as a Snow 1 and carries a 3 star rating which means it can carry a 3x-5x premium over a non variety. However, this is variable. The Cherrypicker's guide lists this variety at $175 in MS63 RB and $1000 in MS65 RB. Currently there is one for sale on ebay at $1075 for MS65 RB. Obviously a full red will carry a higher premium but you don't see many for sale to aid you in coming up with a value. This coin might be worth getting graded and attributed by Snow. If you are slabbing it, I'd recommend sending it to Rick before or after to get an honest opinion and have him photograph it. If you aren't, I'd send it to Rick anyway. You can't go by the stars in the guide to determine value. Past auctions are a help, but it all depends if those one or two top-dollar bidders are on vacation or not. Report this Post to the Staff
