It looks like the chrome variety to me. Usually the missing chrome variety looks a lot duller. Although its hard to tell with the given pictures.

looks like some chrome has worn off with wear which is typical. I have a no-chrome as well as a Partial Chrome (MS) on ebay right now.

The chrome pieces exhibit a blueish tint to them, wouldn't the non-chrome pieces look grey? Like the 1946-1949 nickels?

Please look at the V on the rev. You can see the transition from chrome to no chrome with a colour change. Obv., look in front of the kings eyes and nose. Close seems blue out farther dull and different. Chrome has worn off.

nickelsguy, never heard of a partial chrome variety. Tell me a little bit more about this coin.

ebay item 161012460611 Look at the images. The planchet was poorly prepared to accept the chrome plating, some adhered, most did not. A tuff coin.
