I picked this one up nearly 10 years ago. It has been a gem in my collection ever since, but I've never been certain as to an approximation of the rarity and realistic value. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Looks like a 1st bust.
£225 retail in F in Spink so maybe about £150 to £175.
Nice coin.

As Peter mentions, your GB half-crown appears to be a 1st bust of James II. This link will give you more information and a guide to its value:-

I love coins like this. Old British that were circulated. I'm looking for a nice 1692 myself.
