I just read an article and listened to a utube video about taking money out of the bank and buying silver. It is supposed to try to break a big whoever. I guess it is 2 yrs. ago when the silver crash was manipulated so kind of a way to try to show the value and need for real money. I don't know if the link can be posted but Ron Paul also had the call to purchase silver May 1. The link to the video is on Survival blog.

It was the first I've heard of it tonight. Sounds like the information has been out there a few weeks. I don't plan on it just posted info. I wondered if anyone here had heard of it.

This is that "everybody buy physical silver on 5/1 and together we'll bring the unjust world monetary systems to their knees" lunatic crap.
Could anybody actually be so severely mentally enfeebled (I'm being very gentle here) that they would actually believe that lunacy?

Hmmmm... If people were buying silver in large quantities today, wouldn't spot prices be going up instead of down? Or are spot prices only affected by EFT purchases and not physical silver?

Yeah -- I was just looking at the Kitco spot chart for today. It looks like the side view of a ski jump ramp. The oppressed masses apparently aren't rising
up and throwing off their shackles very effectively. It's starting to look like the evil, corrupt, unjust world monetary systems might just survive the day.

Who knows what or why. I just was posting to see if anyone here had heard the intent of some. I think people are pretty much always buying, look at how short many suppliers are with huge premiums. The silver bought over a month ago when premiums for me were 3 percent were about the same as now with a 20% premium for halves 15% for dimes/quarters, somehow I felt better buying with the 3% than now when I haven't purchased due to the high premium. My local place has plenty as well (a few times when I called halves had been out but not now.)

Well, the markets are saying something else, but if people were to buy, not a bad day for it, as the spot price heads lower and premiums along with it (at least for now).  If everyone buys today (May 1st), it would be a good day (profitable) for dealers too, especially if they raise their premiums by day's end...  Physical is looking better & better....  |

If everybody is buying doesn't that mean that 50% of the people are selling ? And doesn't a sell off drive the price down ?
