Why two 1 euro coins? And the second one looks like a 2 euro sized coin, is it that they've just done a dodgy image to show what it might be like if they were to mess it up completely?

So why are there two 2-Euro coins? Is the atypical 2-Euro a circulating commemorative?

Some countries bring a commemorative coin. Spain does this almost every year.
So you have this year in Spain:
1 cent - 2 euro (the 'regular 8 coins')
2 euro commemorative: 'UNESCO: El Escorial'

Spain has also al these coins loose and available in UNC by eurocoin dealers.
