The rims in the first 2 pictures that Fuzzy posted seem to have a bit of a "flair" to them as well -- are the edges straight across (exactly 90 degrees to the face of your coin) or are they on a slight angle?

Hmmm. Well, it looks like I have to agree with the posters who mentioned a hammer job... it sounds suspiciously like one. Too bad. It makes a novel addition to the collection though, at least for study and instructional purposes.
