Dang, I shipped someone a roll of wheaties who bought them from me for 6 bucks on ebay. However, the roll opened and box got damaged. I'm going to refund the buyer.
Rest in Peace

Bassmaster, sorry to hear man that's a big loss. I try to put insurance on stuff over like 50 bucks or 100. Live and learn.

We ended up getting the money back, but it was a really big deal. Oh well, selling on ebay, there are going to be problems.

ebay has seller protection, one of the perks of paying those high fees.

buddy16cat, That covers non payers and non described items. I believe in this case only shipping insurance would get the money back. Interesting to hear that Bass got his money back though. I didn't see him type that there was any insurance on the item shipped. Must have been a lot of work to get the refund.

We did it UPS so it was automatic insurance. Still very hard to get it though.

yeah I bet... Never went through insurance myself but I can imagine it's not fun. UPS tends to charge me a ton for large stuff so I stay away. Are there prices good on small packages like coins?

I really haven't dealt with them on coins or other small items. I would rather ship usps on them because it is a lot easier here.

I agree, but my service is pretty good. It may just be where you live.

What is some of the stuff they do? I hate unhelpful people that work in a people job.
