I don't think these will need much cleaning if at all. My copy of Aorta is coming from Dirtybooks in the US so may take a couple of weeks before I can start identifying them. Just had to share! Most of the coins have been cleaned and there are touches of bronze showing through the patina of some. My favourite so far shows what appears to be a chariot with one horse. I have tried googling without success, most of the images have four horses. Is there a name for a one horse chariot that I could search for? Report this Post to the Staff

The coin is a posthumous Constantine "Hand of God"...i think I can see the hand reaching down there at 12 o'clock on your picture.
